SURFS UP SS13-14
I’ll keep this brief – while I thoroughly enjoyed almost every piece that came down the runway, I think that perhaps some of these ‘fresh faces’ weren’t quite up to the job of selling the clothes. Sure, their bodies looked incredible but a few of these young girls looked like they weren’t 100% sure of what to do with themselves as they strutted their long limbs down the runway (cue awkward facial expressions and swaying arms).
Again, we can clearly see this ‘man style’ tailoring trend continuing on– something I can’t wait to start trying on. Those simple double-breasted vest dresses/overcoats are to die for while the flannel inspired garments screamed babin’ not brick laying . Oh, and the surf boards for props? Very adorable. It seems props are the new black with We Are Handsome following suit with babes on bicycles.
For their second appearance at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia, I think these sisters have definitely produced the goods – perhaps just allow for more casting time next time?
