LISA HO
There are always those designers who produce beautiful garments but they just aren’t your style or they simply don’t suit your figure shape.
I have to say, Lisa Ho was one of those designers, who as much as I thought the garments looked stunning, they just didn’t reflect me as a person.
Now to really play with my mind, this collection comes out. While every piece isn’t something I would have in my wardrobe (slinky style dresses just aren’t my thing), I am having a couple of double takes with these new cuts coming through. There are still a few pieces which take on the very feminine approach with spaghetti straps, cut outs and figure hugging fits but the majority of outfits take on this slightly androgynous side with those structural masterpieces. I have to say, I could wear that whole metallic number (see tee and pant combo) with that shade of deep purple lipstick all day, any day.
Glad to see Lisa Ho playing in my type of ball park – I have always been a fan of her work.
