CAMEO THE LABEL
I must admit - this branding for 'Broken Flowers' the collection is bang on by Cameo The Label.
I must admit - this branding for 'Broken Flowers' the collection is bang on by Cameo The Label.
It resembles something out of RUSSH Magazine, so ten bonus points for that.
It's grungy, edgy and yet innocent looking - just the thing to draw me in!
This is a cracker of a collection - yes I can also admit, it does look like Alexander Wang has proved to be some SERIOUS inspiration here, but hell - if it works, why would you try something else? I know I'm probably not meant to say this either but I personally think there is a increasingly blurred line between Cameo The Label and Finders Keepers. Yes, I hear you say they are apart of the same company, however there used to be a difference in style and price point that separated the two. This doesn't appear to be the case anymore which makes it difficult for people to become loyal to one brand.
Maybe this is just my PR brain working overtime? Don't get me wrong - I love this look book and I adore Cameo - I just want to see something more from the other labels rather than the same cuts being reused and redressed as I enjoy the excitement of something new and fresh.
