TWELVE.DAYS.OF.CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS STARTS NOW.
Yes, it is November - but let's be honest, your Christmas lust list started two months ago (well, at least mine did).
For the next twelve days, I will be giving you gift ideas for your friends and family... or simply to reward yourself for the hard year that was 2013.
I am starting with the amazing Maniamania Trance Headpiece $220.00. While the larger price tag may scare you, this will see you across Spring and Summer, a wedding invitation, drinks on the beach right through to a romantic dinner for two.

Shop it
here before they run out.

WARMTH.

YOUTHFUL AND BRIGHT.
Some inspiration to get you through Thursday.
If you need a tune to get you through the day - my tip check out Rihanna/Eminem in The Monster.

CLAUSTROPHOBIA.

HIGH AND TIGHT
The definition of claustrophobia, according to Wikipedia is 'the fear of having no escape and being closed in small spaces or rooms' or can correspond to the feeling of wearing a choker like necklace covered in rhinestones and jewels.
No matter which way you look at it - bigger is better.

COLOUR.

BURSTS OF COLOUR
I don't know what has got into me - I am suddenly all about colour.
Maybe it's because Summer is approaching and black is well... a bit drab for when you're out and about in the sunshine?
I don't know - it could also be because I have tried doing a juice detox after being inspired by the fabulous Lara Bingle (she is just looking trim and toned at the moment). Boy, did I get excited when she commented and liked my picture on Instagram... what a sad life I lead to get excited over something so small.

PS: Great news Michelle Bridges is back with babin' Commando. Love that power couple.
Anyway, HAPPY FRIDAY.
This has been the most bonkers last two weeks - here's to a relaxing weekend.

DISTINCT.

THE LOOK
Christine Centenera (Fashion Editor at Vogue Australia and total style icon) has the most distinct style. It's just pure fashion perfection the way she puts each piece together. It's quite a masculine style but the bold shoulder, Celine sunglasses, structured skirts really scream power dressing - I guess you have to hold your own in the fashion industry! Christine works her signature sunnies and messy (but not bed hair messy) look every time. Note to self - who can point me in the direction of these sunglasses? I need them in my life.
My favourite look? I don't think I can honestly pick - but I must say, the feminine off-the-shoulder Stella McCartney dress does make me get goosebumps.

NINETIES.

HOW VERY 90'S
Forget triangle bikinis and those annoying bandeau tops that are forever falling off when you try and dive-bomb the pool. This summer, turn to the nineties and the current piece of swimwear that I am obsessed with - the halter crop.
I am loving the fact you can style these bathers up to look something incredible when you decide to leave your beach umbrella.
Swimwear label KS Swim (Karla Spetic) and Made By Dawn (both shown above) can be purchased via my favourite Sydney store Desordre (devastated that I live in Adelaide - but alas, there is online).
It's very 'She's All That,' 'Jawbreaker' and 'Clueless' - some of my all time favourites.

BALANCE.

CAMILLA AND MARC RESORT

Styled by: Marc Vassallo
The perfect balance between muted tones and pop inspired bright orange and pink.
Lara Bingle has been a long time fan of Camilla and Marc and I am hoping to see her out and about sporting some of this stunning collection.
God bless Australian designers.
