Miss Vogue - a genius concept and carried out perfectly once again.
So much Josh Goot - I think my head may explode. So beautiful and there is a cut to suit everyone (does this mean I should get some?)
These media personalities, social media gurus, bloggers, DJ's, models - whatever you want to call them - are such a talented bunch.
I couldn't think of a better platform than Vogue Australia to celebrate such fabulous people, clothes and of course their twitter feeds that keep me entertained 24/7.

THE.VEST.

RUN, DON'T WALK.
Isn't it a miracle when you know you can't fork out for the real deal (despite it being totally phenom and you know you would thrash it everyday) and there happens to be a piece so close to the original, it would be a sin to miss?

Well, step aside Josh Goot (you gorgeous thing) Sportsgirl have the answer with their Pretty Field Vest $149.95. I just snapped up mine as it just went online.
Be quick - blink, and you'll miss it.

For the real deal... (and a lighter wallet that I am yet able to cope with)

CRYSTAL.VISIONS.

KARLA SPETIC SWIM 2012/2013
Such a delicate approach to swimwear - a mix of soft blues, dainty cuts and classic cool.
Karla Spetic is known for her beautiful garments - the way they sit, drape and fall.
Once more, her swimwear proves that she is at the top of her game. While other designers still cling onto sporty luxe, Karla's approach to the water world is angelic and somewhat poetic.

The flowing silk over garments and 80's inspired halter tops will make any Summer a happy one.

Try lying on the beach with one of these babies on and watch the boys flock like a seagull to a hot chip. I dare you.

Shop them here (and a variety of other amazing pieces) via Karla Spetic:
Like me, you'll die at the sight of the new collection.

MATCHING.

COLOUR COMBO.
Pink and Black. A combo I'm not really a fan of, but for some reason my pink Ray Ban aviators go with everything and my pink Incase phone cover is the only thing between me and a cracked iPhone.

MAN.FRIEND.

BOYS.
This Summer it's about bright shorts, hawaiian button up shirts (party shirts I call them), baseball caps and sweet kicks.
These Aztec print Vans $99.99are babe-licious and will take your beau right through to the cooler months with cuffed chinos (add a moustache for serious babe factor).

Buy your man a back pack this Summer and he'll never be putting his keys and wallet in your clutch again. This Stussy Poplin back pack $49.95 looks great with a white bonds tee and those Henleys Cali stripe shorts $69.95.
Find these beauties and more this Christmas at Trims for Jeans.

PLAYING.WITH.BASICS.

ESSENTIALS.
This Summer, look no further than Trims for Jeans as they provide you with everything you need to take you through the warmer months.
I've become a bit of a layer maniac recently and love nothing more than throwing a tee (cropped or knotted) over a dress to give that styled look with minimal effort.
Add a pair of ROC shades and it's easy street to style town.

Note to self - one dress can always be worn more than one way.

Take for example the Staple the Label piped racer dress $59.95 - layer it up with different tees, blazers or denim and you have multiple outfits for any occasion.
It's the same story with the Mink Pink Not Cut Out mini dress $54.95 - you don't always need to reveal your side boob or bod to make this outfit work. Play with layers and lengths.

Another note to self - skate wear is not just for your man (tip: buy it for him and borrow it).

Now I'm all about black, grey marle and white but nobody ever said they didn't like a bit of colour.
This neon Fate Paulo Pocket shirt $79.95 is the perfect accessory for when the nights get cold. Alternatively, your denim cut off shorts and white tee would love a waist wrap around circa 1990.

So, next time you're shopping and don't want to be left flicking through clothes racks aimlessly, head to Trims for Jeans.

WELCOME.

MINT BRYDIE.
Welcome to the family.
Don't you love it when Tony Bianco announces there is a one day flash sale with 20% off all full price and reduced shoes?
Well, I do - hence the reason for me snapping up these delightful mint wedges.
With a heel height of 11cm, made from Mint Kid Suede - what's not to love?
And at a price of just $32.00 (From $149.95) it's practically stealing.

YELLOW.TONES

PART II
Yellow tones from the Cricket as per my previous 'Fluorescent' post.
It was all about the yellow - neon yellow.
I even backed up next to a whole heap of yellow and orange tone posters at a gig later that night to see local lads Bad Dreems.
And Pimms (ahh, Summery Pimms) and the golden colour of its goodness.

Essentials for Cricket up top:
Hendricks Gin // Ray Ban wayfarers // Vintage DKNY earrings // SACA Members
As you may gather I was also very unsure as to what shoes to go for...
Turns out it was none of those.

CHRISTMAS.CLEANOUT.

LIFE FOR SALE.
These are just a few of the things that I am putting up for sale on eBay in the next few days.
Yes - they are all Maurie and Eve items... I go a bit crazy for it.

The Alexander Wang inspired grey marle jumper dress with tan leather quilted shoulders and arm buckles is something I adored and wore a handful of times and then grew out of... sadly.
The American Flag shirt has been loved sincerely - but alas with such a great loud print and a handful of photos - it's time to say goodbye.
The sequin bodycon number was purchased a while ago from the Maurie and Eve Platinum range and well... it was never worn. This was before I had realised I enjoyed oversized tees and shift mini dresses and my heart fluttered for sequins and ripped fabrics.
As for the Maurie and Eve Fantasies wedge? After falling in love with them from my previous job at LAX Fashion in Adelaide, I indeed realised that I didn't have the outfits to go with them. The poor dears. Such mint condition.

So I'll keep you posted when they go up on eBay - I haven't done this before so let's see what happens.
There's more that will go up too including:
Vintage Tees // Denim // Shakuhachi // Finders Keepers // ASOS // Sass and Bide

Shop new Maurie and Eve here - I am falling in love all over again:
