WHAT TO WEAR
There is always the age old question about what to wear on a Saturday night.
I am faced with a new dilemma – one that I have never faced before… What to wear to the Paspaley Polo In The City when it visits Adelaide on December 13?
On referring to fashion bible Vogue Australia, to gather style cues from those attending the Sydney event, I came to one conclusion – it’s like a toned down version of the racing. It’s relaxed style at its best. A little more Sunday lunch, a little less glam party.
So, now that I have come to that conclusion, the question is – just what to wear?
I’ve found some great inspiration above from the Sydney event and trawling through The Fashion Bunker – throw me some feedback and fingers crossed, I can pull this off!

EMBELLISH.

DOLCE AND GABBANA SPRING 2014
What a head spin. Take me to Europe where I can throw coins in water fountains, eat grapes from copper bowls and lay amongst fields of flowers.
The opulence that is Dolce and Gabbana never fails to deliver - the Spring 2014 collection is no different - with 'more is more' proving to be the mantra of the season.

While most of us can't afford a slice of luxury by Dolce and Gabbana, we can certainly take cues from this collection. It's all about adding that extra element of 'wow'. Add thick gold costume jewellery, deep navy and floral headpieces to get a glimpse of this travel inspired look (and yes, a golden tan will also help).

N.L.P.

WATER BABY
I have just taken the first step towards my future surfing career - I purchased an N.L.P bathing top.
What used to be known as ATG (after going bonkers on Instagram) N.L.P is now the go to name after a little rebrand. What makes this swimwear so unique, is the use of the neoprene/wetsuit material - it brings back that sport luxe 'I'm a Roxy surfer girl but not wearing Roxy' look.
It's pretty exciting to know that I can now dive bomb a pool without a string bikini found floating next to me on surfacing! Now, all I need is a Chanel surf board and I'm off!
Shop it online at The Iconic like I did!http://www.theiconic.com.au/

'REBIRTH OF COLOR'
I know I gave you a teaser a few weeks back - but here is an extended view at the latest from Lack Of Color. The collection 'Rebirth of Color' features an array of short and wide brim fedoras made beautifully from Australian wool. It's very European chic - Paired back with basics, this is your instant style update for Summer 2013/2014.
Let long locks cascade by your shoulders, or pair with a cropped chop - no matter what you're sporting with your do - this is your next best friend. Salty Summer hair never looked so good.
You know you're onto an 'It' item when the likes of Lara Bingle, the girls of They All Hate Us and Jesinta Campbell are spotted with a brim (they may not convince me with Birkenstocks, but I'm more than sold on these hats!)
Trend tips: Follow Lack of Color colour cues as we embrace lilacs, sky blue, silver and tan.

THE.GANG.

ANGELS
Well, it's back again tomorrow night. The night I wait eagerly for all year.
My love for the Victoria's Secret Parade started in year twelve as I fell in love with Adriana Lima, Miranda Kerr (following her then amazing Portmans campaign) and longed for their lengthy limbs, perfectly GHD waved hair and toned abs.
This year, there are few angels who are MIA and while I am rather sad that Miranda and Gisele are no longer gracing the runway, I am sure that there will be some new comers to catch my attention. The year Lily Aldridge emerged, I nearly fell off my chair - what a natural beauty.
The amount of work that goes into this show is truly outstanding - somehow (I don't know how) I must get to a parade as part of my bucket list - or if being seated is too hard, perhaps I can take up sewing and try and get involved with the costume process...
